AWAIC Conference 2015 -Catch the Spark
AWAIC Conference 2014 -Growing Your Ministry
It was so wonderful to be with all of you; this year’s conference had a very strong and powerful connection for everyone! It hit the nail right on the head and gave everyone food for thought and an opportunity to learn more about the new methods of Spiritual Holistic Care for themselves while also serving others.
During the conference, a service of ordination was held for AIHT graduates in conjunction with a co-ordination service for OUNI graduates. Photos from this event are in the AIHT OUNI Co-Ordniation Service photo album.
Many Thanks to all those who attended and left with the embrace of all the love and new friendships that were formed at this year high energy conference. So stay in touch and save the dates of November 13-15, 2015 for next year’s AWAIC Annual Conference at Bon Secours!
AWAIC Conference 2013
The 2013 AWAIC Conference at the Retreat and Conference Center at Bon Secours was very well received by member-attendees and the presenters. The arrival of Spring and beautiful weather enhanced our experience. Each morning began with optional mindful meditation by Rev. Fran Bagdasarian. We were pleased to have excellent speakers to inform, enlighten, and even entertain us, including Rev. Susanna Macomb, Dan Newman, Tracie Ward, Dr. Barry Baines, and Rev. Dr. Raymont Anderson.
The Retreat and Conference Center at Bon Secours (RCCBS) is a professional yet spiritual setting, conveniently located off Interstate 70 west of Baltimore, Maryland. RCCBS has all private rooms with bath, a fine food service, professional spaces, a chapel, a labyrinth and acres of grounds.
In the chapel, the American Interfaith Holistic Temple, the ordaining body of the American Institute of Holistic Theology, held its inspiring 2013 ordination during the AWAIC Conference weekend. Concurrently, many ordainees were co-ordained as pledgers of the Order of Universal Interfaith (OUnI). Two other previously ordained interfaith ministers also pledged.
After the dinner Saturday, participants and their invited family and friends were treated to a wonderful artistic musical signing performance by a troupe led by Rev. Dr. Raymont Anderson. The formal sessions of the conference were wrapped up Sunday morning with a ‘Book Writing” authors’ panel.
It should be mentioned that during breaks members, including business members and presenters, showcased their many talents and creations, offering merchandise of jewelry, art, crystals, stoles, books, and other relevant clergy accessories. These times and the whole conference together built a joyful time of fellowship and learning for us all.
