World AWAKE Conference Information and Registration

Hello Members and Readers!

I am excited to be sending you this wonderful information on our World AWAKE 2017 Conference. We have an unbelievable program of offerings for you this year. The conference is organized by A World Alliance of Interfaith Clergy and is open to the general public who want to work and grow with all people in their InterSpiritual, InterFaith & InterConnected service and presence in the world.

Please see in the enclosed Conference schedule all the wonderful speakers and their workshops being offered. We will have 2 well known keynote speakers and 12 workshops. Each presenter is a professional in their field and are sharing their educational offerings with you, so you can grow personally and professionally. Read the schedule of events and see for yourself all that will be available to you at this event.

You will also have time to visit with our Exhibitors and Vendors with wonderful items from books, (several authors will be there personally signing their books) spiritual beads, stones, meditation accessories, fine art, clothing and more. We will have our popular Silent Auction table again this year with specially donated items that everyone loves to bid on. There will be entertainment in the exhibit area on Saturday evening. Sunday we will close out conference with a Sacred Vibration of
Kirtan Service, Devotional Singing & Sacred Dance.

The Transformation Game Illuminates patterns, offers insights towards new directions, and supports change and transformation. It's an effective way to clarify important issues, resolve conflicts and creatively enhance relationships. It is simple to play and requiring no special training. Participants will be broken into 4 major playing focus groups and have a chance to go around the board to explore personal insights, new directions and ultimately spiritual transformations

2. Creating an Intimate Interfaith Worship Service with Haiku - Rev. Dr. Edwin Greenlee and Rev. Judy Vaughan-Sterling
Workshop participants will discuss classical Haiku; try their hand in crafting Haiku; receive a resource guide; and create their own simple worship service at the end of the workshop.

Explore the meaning of forgiveness as well as thinking errors that promote judgement and hurtful feelings. Understand yourselves, become more instrumental in leading ourselves and others to an abundant life.

The outdoor environment can be stimulating to your senses and bring a host of benefits to your health & wellbeing. We will explore our feelings, memories and the art of releasing stress, pain and conflict and replace it with joy and calm to enhance your life.

7. Move Your Prayers - Rev. Stephanie Rutt
Using simple circle dance movements, we will step light to journey deep moving and sounding sacred phrases from across faith traditions. Hand in hand, breath by breath and step by step we will experience the power of the dance. Music will be provided and absolutely no dance experience is necessary.

Learn techniques that transform and elevate energetic states incorporating the use of visualization, sound, memory and affirmation.

The Sacred Vibration of Kirtan Devotional Singing and Sacred Dance
Blending East and West, this workshop immerses participants in a sacred experience of singing, call and response chanting, drumming and dancing from various faith practices and in various languages (Sanskrit, Hebrew, English). Participants will learn how to lead Kirtan, devotional singing, and sacred dance.

Participants will also learn about the energy behind this spiritual practice and the amazing benefits that calm the mind, open the heart and build deep connection with Divine energy.
This is an invitation to sing, clap, meditate and dance together to create deep connection to the secret places of your soul. - Presenter: Rev. Dr. Grace Telesco

Rev. Dr. Grace Telesco (Swami Sharadananda) is an ordained Interfaith Minister, initiated in the Hindu Sanyassi Order by her Guru Sri Swami Jyotirmayananda in the lineage of Swami Shivananda, and is the Spiritual Director and Presiding Clergy at the Darshan Center for Spiritual Evolution. Rev. Dr. Grace Telesco is a graduate of The New Seminary for Interfaith Studies, holds a Ph.D. in Social Work from Fordham University Rev. Dr. Grace Telesco is also a Professor of Sociology, Social Work and Criminal Justice in South Florida.

GO Airport Shuttle is offering discount ground transportation for to/from Bon Secours. They serve BWI Airport/Amtrak, Baltimore Penn Station, Dulles Airport and Reagan National Airport. For discount fare and how to reserve info,

Make your reservation by calling 410-381-2772 ext 2 and saying "My Profile is 165059".

At BWI you will be looking for a white van with a green GO For Southwest, go to door 6 and cross to the outer roadway. All other airlines, go to door 11 and cross to the outer roadway.
Please have your flight info handy when you call in to us to by your tickets. If you are coming with a friend on the same airline or can meet at the same terminal as one of the ticket holders, or same train and time and both going to Bon Secours you can get a discounted rate that you can split (The 1st ticket is full price 2nd is much less.) but must be called in with all info at the same time and paid by one credit card. (you can split the total costs between yourselves). Be sure to get your return tickets from Bon Secours with a Pick up at the same time. & drop off at the same place. Then you'll be all set.!

Please let me know if you will be bringing the items to conference or if you want to mail them to us ahead of time, let me know via email what you will be contributing to our fun event and I will confirm back to you with either the mailing address to send it to me or I'll put you on the list of an attendee bringing their items in with them to conference.
